OUR COMMITMENT

Although Swissline is a luxury Swiss skincare brand whose customers often face-first world problems, we are committed to making a positive social impact on the world around us. This means supporting great organizations that enact local change with far-reaching global impact.

“At Swissline, we are inspired by beauty, informed by biology, and driven by values. Sustainability is a journey and we embrace it by actively improving our environmental footprint, as well as by supporting organizations who make a difference in their communities and in the wider world.”

Christophe Lesueur, CEO, Dermalab

MAKING A DIFFERENCE

We have teamed up with three Swiss-based organizations that are helping us make a difference. Learn more about these organizations that empower people and improve living conditions not only in Switzerland but around the world.

DRINK & DONATE

Tapping into Switzerland's abundance of clean drinking water, DRINK & DONATE, a non-profit association based in Zurich, provides clean drinking water for those in need. Their approach is straightforward: drink locally, act globally.

Atelier St-Hubert

At Swissline, we realize that giving back starts in your own local communities; that is why we are so proud to support and have worked with Foundation St-Hubert in Switzerland's Valais region for over a decade. Its workforce helps to assemble the components for various Swissline products.

Momentum Foundation

Swissline is all about empowering women and giving them the confidence to be their best selves. To this end, we have partnered with Momentum Foundation, a Swiss non-profit organization that fosters education and advances equality for women by helping them build essential skills and achieve sustainable financial independence.

LOVESKINCARE & LOVEBIRDS

At Swissline, we love nature as much as we love skin biology. Tested on humans - not animals, our Age Intelligence collection is 100% Vegan, using the highest Swiss standards regarding animal welfare. All other Swissline formulations are entirely cruelty-free.

One World to Protect, One World to Love

Joining the Effort to Protect Africa’s Lovebirds - Sponsoring Share the Love Project with World Parrot Trust UK.

Swissline is proud to co-sponsor the first wide range study ever on wild Agapornis species to assure their survival in their home in Africa.

“We decided to sponsor the Lovebirds Conservation Project because Lovebirds are likely one of my favourite parrots, and while they are familiar as pets to a lot of people, there is still little known about their lives in the wild. Three out of the nine Lovebirds species are considered threatened and the WPT project is creating several field actions to recuperate the wild populations of these species.

As a company, we feel comfortable joining wild bird conservation efforts because so many team members are passionate animal lovers; the brand doesn’t run any animal testing; our formulations do not include cruel or animal-based ingredients. For those who want to entirely stay away from animal-related ingredients, we have developed our Cell Shock Age Intelligence which is 100% Vegan.”

SUSTAINABILITY: WASTE NOT, WANT NOT

Swissline is committed to reducing its use of plastic and utilizing more recycled materials in its product packaging. While maintaining the high aesthetic standard and luxurious packaging synonymous with our brand, we are doing our part to protect the planet.

MORE GLASS & ALUMINUM, LESS PLASTIC

Swissline has started to revamp the packaging of its existing products. For example, the Youth-Inducing creams, part of our acclaimed Cell Shock Age Intelligence range, have been updated – the jars are now made of glass.

New launches, such as our Force Vitale Aqua-Calm Oil-in Serum, feature aluminium caps, as opposed to plastic ones. For us, sustainable packaging is not a fad or a trend, it is the future of our brand.

100% RECYCLABLE MATERIALS

All of our new cabin and professional components in 2021 feature recyclable materials, and by the end of 2022 that will be the case for all of our existing cabin and professional components, as well. As far as the consumer products, some of them will feature recycled materials in 2022, but by 2023, all of them.

Currently, the paper used for our boxes comes from sustainable forests in Europe. We have, however, begun the process of transitioning all of our boxes to FSC certified boxes.
